Beginning your solar journey

If you're beginning your journey toward solar energy with Skylight Lending, the first step is selecting the right installer. This installer will work with you to understand your energy needs and provide a customized quote for your solar panel system.

Choose an Installer

You have two options — choose whichever applies to you:

You already have a preferred solar installer

Let them know they need to contact us to go through a prequalification process to be included in our network. Once approved, they'll guide you through your solar setup and system design.

You don't have an installer yet

No worries! We work with a trusted network of experienced installers and are happy to recommend options in your area.

Work With a Sales Representative

Throughout this process, you'll be in touch with a Sales Representative who will be your main point of contact. They'll:

Discuss your energy needs and goals

Present system options tailored to your home

Provide a detailed quote based on your selected system

Explain information regarding documentation

We highly recommend maintaining constant communication between your Sales Rep and your Installer to ensure all project documentation is complete and up to date.

You're on your way!

Once your installer is confirmed and your Sales Rep has your quote ready, you'll be set to move forward with financing through Skylight Lending.
