Complete your Welcome Call before your lease begins. The call must be finished before your solar installation can be finalized. It only takes a few minutes and everything happens online through your Home Monitor portal.

What is the Video Welcome Call?

The Welcome Call is a short video meeting with our team. It's your chance to review your lease agreement together, confirm your identity, and ask any questions before everything gets finalized.

You'll find the link to join inside your Home Monitor portal. Look for the "Join Welcome Call" button — it's right on your dashboard and launches the video session in one click.

Before you join

Make sure you have these two things ready before starting your call:

Your signed lease agreement — the call can only proceed once your lease has been signed. If you haven't signed yet, complete that step first through your Home Monitor portal.
A valid photo ID — you'll be asked to verify your identity during the call, so have a government-issued ID ready to show on camera.
Pro tip

Having both items ready before you start keeps the call quick and smooth — most customers are done in under 10 minutes.

What happens during the call

Your Welcome Call covers three things:

Lease term review — we'll walk through your lease together to make sure you fully understand everything before your installation moves forward.
Identity verification — you'll be asked to confirm a few personal details and show your photo ID on camera.
Your questions — have something on your mind? Bring it to the call. If there's anything we can't cover on the spot, our customer service team will follow up with you directly.

After your call

Once your Video Welcome Call is complete, our team will review everything. You don't need to do anything during this time — we'll be in touch once your review is done.

Our review time is 24 to 48 hours. You'll hear from us as soon as it's complete.
